Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters is on a roll! For the second consecutive year, USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice voted Papillon No. 1 in the 2021 travel award contest for Best Helicopter Tour in North America. A panel of travel industry experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial nominees and then the top 10 winners were ultimately determined by popular vote. “What an honor to receive this prestigious award for two continuous years,” says Brenda Halvorson, chief executive officer, Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters. “Our goal is to provide breathtaking tours that far exceed guest expectations and we are honored to be acknowledged for our work by USA Today readers, as well as their panel of experts and editors.” Papillon’s win comes shortly after receiving two Diamond Awards from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for excellence in maintenance and compliance, also for the second year in a row. Initiated in 1991, the FAA Diamond Awards are considered the highest industry honors within the William O’Brien Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Awards program. In addition, Papillon continues to be the only aerial tour company serving Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon to achieve the IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations) Stage
