Brad Schneider (D-IL-10), Dan Kildee (D-MI-05), and Julia Brownley (D-CA-26) for introducing the Sustainable Skies Act. The legislation provides a blender tax credit for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to incentivize the production and use of the low-carbon substance. HAI Commends Introduction of Promoting Service in Transportation Act HAI commends Reps. Rick Larsen (D-WA-02), Don Young (R-AK-At-large District), and Angie Craig (D-MN-02) for introducing the Promoting Service in Transportation Act. This bipartisan legislation promotes career opportunities in the transportation sector and advocates for more diversity in the industry through workforce outreach programs. The bill aims to help build a more dynamic transportation workforce that will serve future industry needs. The vertical flight sector is expected to be transformed with the introduction of advanced air mobility (AAM) technology, and this transformation will require a well-rounded, highly equipped workforce to successfully advance industry initiatives.
