Northwest Heli Structures would like to announce FAA STC Approval to Install Sheet Metal Service Decks on Bell Models UH-1H, 212,412 Helicopters with 205 approval coming. The advantage of Installing these Decks is it is a one-time change so operators will no longer have to worry about Panels delaminating. There are Two Variants of the Panels one is made from Stainless Steel which is Heavier than the Original, our Engineer states it will not affect the Flight Characteristics, the other as a Titanium Deck Skin which weight wise is Comparable to the original with an extra 3lbs per Panel.
