With its sale of the first MULTIBASE system to Spectrum Aeromed, AUTOFLUG has successfully entered the market with its crash-proof, modular pallet solution. Combined with the purchase of four pallets for use in C130 by an unnamed end customer, further equipment intended for use on the pallets was also procured. An essential component of the configurations being aimed at is the PTU developed by Spectrum Aeromed, an ideal complement to the potential of the MULTIBASE. The pallet solution AUTOFLUG MULTIBASE is a modular concept for making cargo planes and helicopters ready for take-off more quickly. For this, the individual pallets are already completely equipped on the ground and thus only have to be brought into the cargo area once the plane has arrived. Whereas previously several days were needed to change the set-up on larger transport aircraft, putting the pallets in only takes a few hours at the most. Because the factor of time plays a central role, especially in critical missions such as e.g. in medevac deployments, the MULTIBASE system provides decisive advantages here. Furthermore, pallets can be prepared for different purposes, substantially increasing the multi-role capabilities of the aircraft used. At this year’s International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) in
